Exhibition and function venue

Located off Harris Street, Ultimo, The Muse occupies the ground floor of a three storey building. Built in 1893, The Muse makes a unique exhibition space or function venue.

Historic setting

Designed by the government architect, and built in 1893, The Muse has been carefully refurbished to become a quality exhibition and seminar space. With leadlight windows and doors, it mixes the old with the new.

Choice of space

It has two divided wings, with eight regular alcoves in each, which are great for hosting exhibitions, cocktail functions, small meetings and conferences.

Flexible areas

Hold your exhibition, cocktail function or fashion parade in this fascinating building.

The space is 1060 square metres consisting of a main central area with eight adjoining alcoves. Includes a gallery hanging system, lighting and plinths. Up to 260 items can be shown in flexible configurations. A PA system and audiovisual equipment is available.

Multipurpose facilities

At each end of the bays are areas which can be used for a variety of purposes.

Presentation equipment is available, including data projector and screen, lectern, and computer with internet access is available. Seating can be arranged theatre, U-shape or workshop style.
