Send your application to SITEC directly or through your Agent. The SITEC Admissions team will advise what to do next.

If you don’t know how many weeks you may need to reach your target English level, send us an email or ask your education agent. You can do a preliminary level assessment at the agent’s office.

Allow enough time before the commencement of your vocational or degree course to ensure that you reach at least the minimum required English qualification in case your progress is a little slower. Every individual learns at their own individual pace.

When you arrive, we will do a comprehensive assessment of your level in all areas and place you in the level which is most appropriate for your current English proficiency. We will discuss with you your study options and suggest the optimal study plan for you.

Step 5: The application process, offer letter and payment

Our Admissions Officer will process your application and send you an Offer Letter stating fees payable.

Please note: Recent changes in Australian legislation mean we are unable to receive more than 50% of tuition fees in advance for course enrolments longer than 24 weeks. If your course is 25 weeks or more in length, you will need to pay in installments. Your payment installment amounts and due dates for payment will be listed in your invoices.

We will also send you Payment Instructions and an Orientation Letter. Please read the documents carefully and follow exactly the payment instructions. To accept a SITEC offer you need to pay for your course in accordance with the invoices we send you. If you do not follow the payment instructions exactly, your payment may be delayed or lost.
When you have paid for the course please notify us by sending us an email and attach the payment receipt or any proof of payment.

Applying through an agent

Sydney Institute has agents all over the world who know our courses well and can help you make your application and arrange your student visa. The benefit of applying through an education agent is that you can get detailed advice on your study options and other questions, such as visas, study options and living in Sydney, usually, in your own language.

To find an agent near you please refer to the list on the TAFE NSW International web site.
