You think big - so do we

Your time at Eora TAFE is about developing the skills you need for the job you want. Your time with us is also about developing friendships and enjoying your learning.

We offer support and opportunities for you to engage both professionally and socially with the local, national and international community.

Government-funded student loans may be available for your course: Fee-HELP for degree courses and VET Fee-HELP for Diploma/Advanced Diploma courses.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to build their future and that’s why we offer a range of competitive scholarships to currently-enrolled students in a range of courses.

End-of-year exhibition

Student work is exhibited at the end of each year. It is an opportunity for students to experience staging an exhibition and to sell their work to the Sydney TAFE and wider communities.

Student and alumni art gallery

The Limelight Gallery exhibits and sells the creative works of Sydney TAFE students and alumni. The gallery is located in the busy walkway between Central Station, the ABC, UTS and Ultimo TAFE. As well as displaying work, there are opportunities for students to be involved with the running of the gallery.

Workplace learning and industry connections

Many of our courses involve a period of work experience, offer internship opportunities, industry guest lecturers or workplace visits. These opportunities allow you to apply your learning in a real-world context and start making industry connections.

Job advertisements

Careers Connect is a career development tool and job vacancy service. Job vacancies are listed by employers wanting to employ current TAFE students and recent graduates. Careers Connect officers can provide advice on structuring your resume, writing applications and addressing selection criteria.

Student Association

Join the Student Association, run for election as an Association board member and develop your group, presentation and networking skills.  From free BBQs to live music – Association activities offer many opportunities to mix with other students.

Learn a language

We teach 10 popular Asian and European languages, including Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Italian. Classes are offered on week nights and weekends at Ultimo College, an easy 20 minute walk from Eora College or 15 minute walk from Central Station. You can study a nationally-accredited program at beginner's level through to advanced level.

Learn from fellow students from around the world

Each year Sydney TAFE accepts over 2,000 international students from over 70 countries to study at one of our seven campus locations. Eora College proudly welcomes a small number of these international students each year. This provides all of our students with the opportunity for cross-cultural learning.
