    Course description and aims

    The course explores the fundamentals of digital interface design with a user experience focus:
    This course is an excellent adjunct and/or pathway to the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design, and offers learning and upskilling in emerging and specialist skills to current professionals as well as students of graphic design.
    This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of user experience design which will help you to expand your portfolio and employment options as a graphic designer.

    Possible specialisation in UX and UI design within a graphic design context.

    Entry requirements

    Certificate IV in Design or equivalent. A fundamental understanding of the principles of graphic design, and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

    This course is available to Australian Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents who are over 15 years of age, have left school and live or work in NSW.

    About offering:

    This course is an excellent adjunct and/or pathway to the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design, and offers learning and upskilling in emerging and specialist skills to current professionals, as well as students of graphic design.

    You will be introduced to the theory and practice of user interface and user experience design, assisting you in expanding your portfolio and employment options as a graphic designer.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend 5 hours of class a week over 1 day a week for 8 weeks. An indication of your weekly timetable is: Thursday, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
