Illustrating Books for Children course details
Course description and aims
This practical course is designed to introduce the learner to the production of Illustrations for ChildrenÂ’s picture books.
The learner will develop/analyse/edit/re-imagine a script, create a layout, produce roughs and choose appropriate black and white and/or colour, wet and/or dry media and apply traditional and/or digital techniques to the final work to present to a publisher.
Enrol at any location
You will need to attend approximately 3 hours of class a week over 1 evening per week. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Wednesday 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
