Introduction to SFX Makeup for Film & Theatre course details
Course description and aims
This practical course is designed to introduce the learner to Special Effects Make-up for film, stage and events. The course will take the learner through appropriate WHS for make-up application and removal, a potted history of makeup styles and the creation of special effects for example aging, disfigurements like cuts, bruises and burns and the creation and application of simple prosthetic elements like horns and facial growths.
Enrol at any location
You will need to attend approximately 3 hours of class over 1 day a week for 9 weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Wednesday, 3.00pm to 6.00pm.
