Designing Jewellery With Rhino course details
Course description and aims
To benefit from the course you should have basic computer literacy and knowledge of jewellery production. It will be an advantage if you have some experience with other design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Solid Works or AutoCAD.
This course will introduce you to Rhino and Rhino Gold software for 3-dimensional modelling, designing and visualisation of jewellery. With Rhino you can develop and communicate your jewellery designs with no need for interpretation. It will let you accurately model and document designs for rendering, analysis and manufacture. Once approved, a design can be sent directly to 3D printing or computer-aided manufacturing to produce the model for casting. You can then use traditional techniques for manufacturing. This course will introduce you to designing with these tools, preparing for files for manufacture and rapid prototyping technology.
