    Course description and aims

    Learn to develop web applications in Angular, and go beyond the limitations of static HTML. Use the intuitive, expressive, and easy to learn Angular framework to make reactive, dynamic web-based experiences.

    Experience how Angular provides the tools to build the framework most suited to your application development. It is fully extensible and works well with other libraries. Every feature can be modified or replaced to suit your unique development workflow and feature needs.

    In this Two-Part course, Part 2 will teach you:

    1. HTTP module
    2. AJAX
    3. Single Page Applications (SPAs) with Routing
    4. Dependency Injection

    This course provides a solid foundation for anyone wanting to create dynamic web-based experiences using the Angular framework, especially with an aim to creating single page applications.

    Once completed the applicants can expect to become proficient in the essentials of Angular 2.0 development.

    Entry requirements

    An understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required. We recommend our Develop Web Apps using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as an essential starting point. While not essential, experience in ASP.NET MVC or Spring MVC is recommended.

    This course is available to Australian Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents who are over 15 years of age, have left school and live or work in NSW.

    Attend the following information session to meet with the teaching staff, discuss the course and get more information about enrolment and next steps.

    Wednesday, 4 October 2017 at 6:00pm at Ultimo College, Main Campus, Thomas Street, Ultimo. Building G, Ground Level, Room GG.19.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 9 hours of class over 3 days per week for 2 weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Monday and Wednesday, 1:30pm to 4:30pm and Saturday 10:00am to 4:30pm.
