Course description and aims
This course will offer an overview of the fundamental aspects of data persistence, manipulation and management with relational databases. We have selected Microsoft SQL Server as the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) to demonstrate the core concepts. The following topics will be covered:
1. Data Models
2. Data Definition Language
3. Data Manipulation Language
4. Conceptual Modelling
5. Logical Modelling

Systems Analysis and Design
This is part 2 of a 4 part bridging course suite in preparation for Diploma of Systems Analysis and Design or Advanced Diploma of Business Analysis.
Basic understanding of concepts and techniques in Database design as required in the skill set for an occupation in the field of System Analysis and Design.
Enrol at any location
You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class over 1 day per week for four weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Thursday, 10:00am to 4:30pm; Plus 1hour class discussion.
