    Course description and aims

    This course will offer an overview of basic tools, techniques and knowledge needed to understand whatÂ’s possible using an object oriented language. We selected c# as the language to demonstrate all the concepts considering it is the most popular programming language today. The following topics will be covered:

    1. Simple Values (Data Types)
    2. Control Flows
    3. Methods
    4. Objects and Classes
    5. Inheritance
    6. Polymorphism
    7. Interfaces

    The intention of this course is to get you accustomed with the OOP paradigm and understanding of whatÂ’s possible from the perspective of business-system analyst/system designer.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class over 1 day a week for 4 weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Friday, 10:00am to 4:30pm.
