    Course description and aims

    This practical course is designed to introduce the learner to the creation and management of a public event or festival for a client.

    The learner will follow a client brief and develop/analyse/edit and/or re-imagine the event from the ground up with special emphasis on the design, styling and look of the event. The design and sourcing of new and existing elements and the bringing of the event together on time and on budget.

    You will need to attend approximately 3 hours of class over 1 evening a week for 9 weeks. Indicative timetable: Orientation Wednesday 11 October 2017 then Tuesday evenings, 6.00pm to 9.00pm from 17 October 2017.
