    Course description and aims

    This course is designed to introduce the learner to the production of a short stop frame animated film.

    The learner will develop/analyse/edit or re-imagine a script, design and sculpt small scale 3D articulated characters, make simple scenery and props and shoot the film using simple stop frame techniques on basic software.

    This course is available to Australian Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents who are over 15 years of age, have left school and live or work in NSW.

    You should plan to spend approximately one hour of your own time for every hour of ‘face to face’ training per week on projects and research, additional to class activities.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 3 hours of class over 1 day a week for 9 weeks. Indicative Timetable: Orientation on Wednesday, 9 May 2018; classes following Saturdays, from 19 May 2018, 9:30am to 12:30pm.
