    Course description and aims

    This course explores the fundamentals of product presentation for small business promotion. You will learn the basics of studio lighting, product styling and presentation, and image capture.

    You will take your images into photographic software to adjust and prepare them correctly for online and print promotion.

    Bring your own SLR camera and laptop or use ours. We have our own photography studio on campus.

    * Introduction to the principles of product promotion
    * Basics of SLR photography
    * Studio and natural lighting techniques
    * Styling for product presentation
    * Adjustments and correction, and preparation of images using Adobe Photoshop
    * Uploading images for online promotion

    This course is available to Australian Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents who are over 15 years of age, have left school and live or work in NSW.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend 5 hours of class over 1 day a week for 8 weeks. Your weekly timetable is Friday, 9.00am to 3.00pm.
