    Course description and aims

    In this digital age more and more businesses need to have the skills to grow their business and meet the demands of evolving technology.
    The Statement of Attainment in Digital Business Skills - web, social media and ebusiness is a short practical 4 day workshop we focus on all things digital to grow your business.
    We look at how social media platforms can be used to promote your business and what keywords get peopleÂ’s attention. What works with a website and what doesnÂ’t. We also learn about using digital technology every day in your business and how you can better communicate with your customers using an array of digital platforms. Importantly we assume, no pre-knowledge Â… so this is the perfect course for a beginner learning what digital can offer.
    You will achieve the following units of competence:
    1. BSBMGT407 Apply digital solutions to work processes
    2. ICTWEB201 Use social media tools for collaboration and engagement
    3. BSBEBU401 Review and maintain a website

    BSB42415R1 Certificate IV of Marketing and Communication or other marketing communications qualifications

    Entry requirements

    Please note this is a fully government subsidised course at Sydney TAFE, which means the government will pay your fees for you.
    To enrol in a fully government subsidised course you must:

    be aged 15 years or older
    have completed year 10 (or its equivalent)
    have left or be eligible to leave school
    have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
    be living or working in NSW, and
    be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen.

    You will need to attend approximately 7 hours of class a week over 4 days per week. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: 9:30am to 4:30pm at Ultimo Campus, 651-731 Harris Street, building G, level 1, room 16

    This course is fully government-subsidised for eligible students, meaning you won't have to pay any course fees. It is part of a program to help people develop the skills they need to get a job, undertake entry level qualifications or transition to a new job.

    If you are not eligible for subsidised training, you can still choose to enrol in the course but will need to pay the full (non-subsidised) fee $1,150.
