    Course description and aims

    The Statement of Attainment in Introduction to Digital Marketing Communications is an 5 day intensive practical, fun and informative training course, focusing on building your social media, online marketing and digital communications skills so you can jump into the digital, mobile and online world to communicate more effectively with your customers and clients. You will be introduced to a burgeoning new world; we use up to the minute examples and case studies to learn about current online marketing methods, marketing automation, search engines, convergence, social media, and new tech and ideas for your business. This course is focused on providing participants with "real world" information on digital marketing practices and "how to" guides.

    On successful completion of the course you will be awarded the Statement of Attainment in Introduction to Digital Marketing Communications and be credited with the following units of competency:
    BSBCMM401 Make a presentation
    BSBCRT401 Articulate, present and debate ideas
    BSBMGT407 Apply digital solutions to work processes
    BSBMKG417 Apply marketing communication across a convergent industry
    BSBMKG418 Develop and apply knowledge of marketing communication industry

    This course is also compulsory for anyone wanting to complete a Diploma in Marketing & Communication and is ideal for anyone wanting to upgrade their existing marketing skills.

    Please note this is a fully government subsidised course at Sydney TAFE, which means the government will pay your fees for you.
    To enrol in a fully government subsidised course you must:

    be aged 15 years or older
    have completed year 10 (or its equivalent)
    have left or be eligible to leave school
    have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
    be living or working in NSW, and
    be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 40 hours of class a week over 5 days per week. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm.
