    Course description and aims

    This Statement of Attainment in Emotional Intelligence and Teams qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

    Emotional Intelligence, Communication and Working in Teams are critical skill for modern leaders in order to enhance overall communication skills and team building skills. You will be achieving the following units of competency:
    BSBLDR501 Develop and Use Emotional Intelligence
    BSBLDR503 Communicate in the workplace
    BSBLDR502 Lead and manage effective workplace relationships
    BSBWOR502 Lead and manage team effectiveness

    Other Requirements

    Learners will be existing workers that are currently working in leadership roles or aspiring to move into such roles.

    be aged 15 years or older
    have completed year 10 (or its equivalent)

    You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class a week over 1 days per 4 weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is 4 Saturdays : 09:00am to 4:00pm

    Workshops will be held over four Saturdays at St George College – Building F, Cnr Princes Highway and President Ave, Kogarah 2217. Workshop dates are: 28 October, 4 Nov, 11 Nov and 18 Nov. Between each workshop you will be expected to engage in the assessment tasks and complete work outside of class. The teacher will set weekly work for you to complete. This will contribute to your assessment tasks and unit completion.
