    Course description and aims

    This practical handson short course, the Statement of Attainment in Retail Customer Service Skills is an excellent introduction to retail customer service.
    You will be learning the following units of competency:
    SIRXCEG001 – Engage the customer
    SIRXCEG003 - Build customer relationships and loyalty
    SIRXSLS002 – Follow point of sale procedures
    SIRXMKT001 - Support marketing and promotional activities

    Entry requirements

    To access government-subsidised training in TAFE NSW, including fee exemptions or concessions, you must be:
    an Australian citizen or meet the criteria of being an Australian permanent resident, a humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen
    aged 15 years or older
    no longer be at school and
    living or working in NSW OR
    registered as a NSW apprentice or new entrant trainee.

    INFORMATION SESSION

    Attend the following information session/orientation to meet with the teaching staff, discuss the course and get more information about enrolment and next steps.

    Saturday 13, May 2017 at 9:30am at Sutherland College, Gymea Campus, Corner of Hotham Road & Kingsway, building A, Ground Floor, room 01 (AG.01).

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class a week over 1 day per week. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Saturdays, 13th May, 20th May, 27th May, 3rd June, 10th June at 9:30am to 3:30pm
