Course description and aims
This course is aimed at those seeking a career as a customs broker in the transport and logistics industry, and is recognised by the a Australian Government's Department of Immigration and Border Protection as the required standard for such a role.
Successful completion of this course will provide the knowledge to achieve the self-directed application of appropriate skills, with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques for yourself and others. Core subjects include cargo border procedures, determining customs values and indirect taxes, and complying with biosecurity border clearance.

Monday 24th July 2017, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at St George College, Main Campus, Cnr Princes Highway and President Avenue, Building F, Ground Level, Room FG.24.
You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class a week over 2 evenings. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Monday and Wednesday, 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
