    Course description and aims

    This qualification reflects the role of senior civil works designers or para-professional designers who support professional engineers. They perform tasks that are broad, specialised, complex and technical and include strategic areas and initiating activities. They are responsible for the design of complex projects to ensure the implementation of the clients site requirements and are required to demonstrate self-directed application of theoretical and technical knowledge and initiate solutions to technical problems or management requirements.

    No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

    INFORMATION SESSION

    Attend the following information session to meet with the teaching staff, discuss the course and get more information about enrolment and next steps.

    Wednesday 31, January 2018, at 4:00pm at Ultimo College, Marcus Clark Campus (Building W), Main Campus, 827-837 George Street, Building W, Level 1, Room W1.40.

    At your orientation session/first class you will be provided with your timetable.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 15 hours of class a week over 3 days. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Flexible or Standard timetable, Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
