Course description and aims
This course will offer an overview of the fundamentals of web development, HTML5 and CSS3. We teach you the basics of a markup language, how to structure a webpage and the way to style the elements in Apple environment.
The course will cover the following topics:
1. HTML5 vs HTML4.1 vs XML
2. HTML Page Structure
3. HTML Elements and Attributes
4. HTML Forms
5. CSS Syntax
6. CSS Selectors
Completing Introduction to Web technologies (Apple platform) will contribute 24 hours of NESA Registered Professional Development addressing 6.2.2 and 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
Course outcomes and careers
Enrol at any location
You will need to attend 8 hours of class over 2 days per week for 3 weeks. Indicative timetable: Monday and Thursday 9:00am to 1:00pm.
