    Course description and aims

    This course will enable you to utilise modern technologies to engage your audience on a level that makes the best use of modern technologies and devices

    This course will teach you how to create mind-blowing fully interactive eBooks using Apples iBooks Author. We introduce the most effective way to collaborate with other teachers to develop and deliver captivating teaching materials that your audience will thank you for.

    This course will enable the learners to:
    * Install iBooks Author
    * Choose a template
    * Create a book cover
    * Insert chapters, sections, and pages
    * Add interactive content (Key Note, Videos, Multiple Choice/Review Questions)
    * Preview, publishing, and sharing your book
    * Collaborate using dropbox

    Completing Apple in Education (Interactive eBooks) will contribute 8 hours of NESA Registered Professional Development addressing 6.2.2 and 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

    Course outcomes and careers

    This is an endorsed NESA course providing endorsed professional development for primary and secondary school teachers.

    TAFE NSW is endorsed to provide NESA Registered Professional Development for teachers accredited at Proficient level.
