Course description and aims
This course will deliver technical skills in the production of visual storytelling, along with the exploration of connecting digital still images into a visual narrative. Basic camera handling skills, sequencing of images and image selections will be applied.
Completing Â‘Camera for story telling in schoolsÂ’ will contribute 12 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 and 7.2.2from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

You will need to attend 12 hours of class over 2 consecutive days. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 12:00pm and 12:30pm to 3:30pm.

Candidates will need to provide their own DSLR or digital rangefinder camera with full manual controls; portable hardrive approx 500GB and have a computer with basic imaging software to complete this course.
