Course description and aims
This course will introduce you to the basic process of using digital games engine software to create a 3D Digital Environment and view it in a Virtual Reality headset.
You will be introduced to the games engine environment and use the digital 3D modelling, texturing and lighting tools to create a landscape and then undertake the process of exporting and viewing your creation in a VR headset
At the end of this course students will be able to:
- access and use the basic features of digital games production software
- design and create elements for 3D digital environment
- export and view a 3D digital environment using a VR headset
This course is ideal for Visual Arts and Design & Technology teachers
Completing Create a digital VR environment will contribute 6 hours of NESA Registered Professional Development addressing 6.2.2 and 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

Enrol at any location
You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class over 1 day. An indication of how your timetable may look is: Monday 10:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
