Course description and aims
Learn how to make a short film! You will learn how to shoot and edit a short film. The learner will use basic film and TV equipment to produce and edit a short film.
* Workshop 1: Learners will be provided with a short script and storyboard and will be shown how to shoot a short film.
* Workshop 2: Learners will learn how to post produce (Edit) a short film and save for the web.
This course is ideal for Visual Arts, Design & Technology, and English & Drama teachers.
Completing Making a Short Film to Engage Learners will contribute 12 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 and 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
Course outcomes and careers
Enrol at any location
You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class over 1 day per week for 2 weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Saturday, 10:30am to 1:30pm and 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
