    Course description and aims

    This course is designed for photography and photo imaging in schools to learn the craft of image manipulation & enhancement using Adobe Photoshop from a photographic perspective.

    Completing Photoshop for school photography contributes 12 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 and 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

    Course outcomes and careers

    This is an endorsed NESA course. TAFE NSW is endorsed to provide NESA Registered Professional Development for teachers accredited at Proficient level.

    RESOURCES
    Candidates will need to provide their own DSLR or digital rangefinder camera with full manual controls; portable hardrive approx 500GB and have a computer with basic imaging software to complete this course.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class over 1 day per week for 2 weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Saturday, 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:30pm to 3:30pm on 20 May and 27 May 2017.
