    Course description and aims

    This course provides the skills and knowledge required to perform a variety of accounting job roles with a focus on financial reporting, budget management and forecasting, and management accounting. This program also contributes to the educational requirements for providing tax agent services.

    Students wishing to pursue a career as a tax agent must be registered with the Tax Practitioners Board and meet educational and other requirements for registration including a designated period of experience. Students should ensure they have checked the current requirements when they apply for this course to ensure they make appropriate subject choices.
