    Course description and aims

    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of technical skills in photo imaging, including lighting, image capture, enhancements and manipulation and output.

    Practice at this level is predominately digital. It is underpinned by the application of integrated technical, theoretical and historical knowledge of photo imaging and the ability to develop concepts and solutions in response to a brief.

    Practitioners may work in a range of industry contexts, including retail, commercial, domestic portrait, media, wedding, illustrative, institutional and art photography.

    Tuesday 18 July 2017 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Ultimo College, Cnr Harris & Thomas Street Ultimo, Building F, Level 3, Room F3.10.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will attend 18 hours of class over 3 days per week. Indicative timetable: Timetable 1: Mon & Tue 8:30am to 4:00pm, and Wed 8:30am to 12:30pm or 1:00pm to 5:00pm; Timetable 2: Wed & Fri 8:30am to 4:00pm, and Thur 8:30am to 12:30pm
