Course description and aims
This course is for people who want to work in the security industry in management roles.
At the completion of this course you will be able to coordinate security operations; assess security risk management options; prepare and implement security risk management plans; manage quality customer service; manage the performance of people; manage personal work priorities and professional development; and to promote team effectiveness.

Employment in the security industry as consultants, security managers, agency advisors or in positions of responsibility for the security of major assets.
Depending on electives chosen this course could provide graduates with a pathway to higher level Business Management qualifications.
This course is designed for people wanting to develop the knowledge and skills

On completion of this course and depending on the electives chosen, students

Enrol at any location
You will need to attend 1 class a month. An indication of how your monthly timetable may look is: Monday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND ASSISTANCE
This course is approved for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan (VSL). If you meet the VSL eligibility and academic suitability requirements, you are able to apply to the Commonwealth for a loan to cover all or part of your course fee. We will ask you whether you would like to apply for a VET Student Loan when you enrol and advise you of the process.

Direct payment by Unit of Study instalments is available for this course.
The Units of Study and associated fees for this course are detailed below. Fees are charged on the census day for each unit of study. To secure a loan for part or all of your course, you must be eligible and submit a valid application to the Commonwealth for a VET Student Loan. You may withdraw prior to the census date without incurring a fee.

Classes will be held on the following dates, Monday 22nd May, Monday 26th June, Monday 31st July, Monday 28th August, Monday 25th September, Monday 23rd October, Monday 20th November. All classes will commence at 8:30am and finish at 5:00pm. All final assessments must be completed by the 9th of February 2018.
