    Course description and aims

    This course is for those seeking to understand how to operate a business in a global organisation, who require the skills to manage export operations and navigate international markets, or those with an existing business (or those who wish to start one) and focus on a global market.

    As part of this qualification, you will learn how to launch a global business, manage risk, understand core business functions and global markets, international promotions and marketing, market analysis, stakeholder management, project, risk and financial management.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 20 hours of class a week over 2 days. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Wednesday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

    GET YOUR UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI)

    Before you enrol you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Visit http://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi to request a USI. Remember to add Sydney TAFE to your account via the Manage Permissions page (code: 90003, name: TAFE NSW - Sydney Institute).

    PAYMENT OPTIONS AND ASSISTANCE

    This course is approved for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan (VSL). If you meet the VSL eligibility and academic suitability requirements, you are able to apply to the Commonwealth for a loan to cover all or part of your course fee. We will ask you whether you would like to apply for a VET Student Loan when you enrol and advise you of the process.

    The loan cap for this course is $5,000. This means the maximum amount you can borrow for each unit of study is $1,667, and you will need to directly pay the remaining $410 for each Unit of Study.
