Enrol at any location
You will need to attend approximately 16 hours of class over 2.5 days. Full attendance and participation in ALL activities during the course will satisfy the required performance criteria as per AMSA requirements.Courses commence at 8:30am

READ BEFORE YOU ENROL
Full payment of the course fee is required 3 days prior to the start of the class.
Refund of the course fee is only due in the following circumstances-
* TAFE NSW has cancelled the course you were enrolled in, or
* You formally advise the campus in writing at least 7 days prior to the start of your course that you are withdrawing.
In any other circumstances, full or partial refund of the course fee is at the discretion of the campus delegate.
‘If you are travelling from interstate or overseas, please ensure that you book your flights on a fully refundable basis.
Sydney TAFE reserves the right to cancel the course if insufficient registrations have been receive seven days from commencement of the course.
Any fees paid for cancelled courses will be fully refunded as per TAFE policy.Â’

The CoC refresher course is designed to meet the mandatory Sea Survival and Fire Fighting continued competence requirements for current Seafarers with *qualifying sea service.

The following certificate will be issued to participants who successfully complete the course:
Sea Survival and Fire Fighting Continued Competence for holders of Certificates of Competency (Master, Deck and Engineer Officers) and Certificate of Proficiency as Chief Integrated Rating (AMSA approved). Meeting the relevant competencies from:
. Personal Survival Techniques – STCW Table A-VI/1-1.
. Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting – STCW Table A-VI/1-2.
. Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats – STCW Table A-VI/2-1.
. Advanced Fire Fighting – STCW Table VI/3.
