    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend 24 hours of class over three days. Full attendance and participation in ALL activities during the course will satisfy the required performance criteria as per AMSA requirements.

    Full payment of the course fee is required 3 days prior to the start of the class.
    Refund of the course fee is only due in the following circumstances-
    * TAFE NSW has cancelled the course you were enrolled in, or
    * You formally advise the campus in writing at least 7 days prior to the start of your course that you are withdrawing.
    In any other circumstances, full or partial refund of the course fee is at the discretion of the campus delegate.

    This course is an AMSA approved course and meets the requirements of the STCW Code Reg VIII/2 and Code Section A-VIII/2, Part 3 and 4, paragraphs 8-51.
    BRM is ideal for deck and engineering officers together with maritime pilots and shore based personnel who have interaction with the shipping environment. The objective is to ensure that sound resource management practices underpin everyday operations.

    It is designed to meet the bridge resource management requirements detailed in Table A-II/I of the 2010 Manila amendments to the STCW Convention and Code.
    The course aims to foster positive attitudes favouring good personal communication, excellence in leadership skills and compliance with operating procedures.
