    Course description and aims

    Learn to develop web applications in AngularJS and go beyond the limitations of static HTML. Use the intuitive, expressive, and easy to learn AngularJS framework to make reactive, dynamic web-based experiences and master the tools to build the framework most suited to your application development. AngularJS is fully extensible and works well with other libraries.

    This couse will teach you Dynamic HTML with data-binding, Modules, Controllers, Expressions, Directives, Scope and Forms, Services, AJAX, Single Page Applications (SPAs) with Routing, Resources, and the Basics of Angular 2.0.

    This course provides a solid foundation for anyone wanting to create dynamic web-based experiences using the AngularJS framework, especially with an aim to creating single page applications.

    Entry requirements

    An understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required. We recommend our Develop Web Apps using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as an essential starting point. While not essential, experience in ASP.NET MVC or Spring MVC is recommended.

    Attend the following information session to meet with the teaching staff, discuss the course and get more information about enrolment and next steps.

    Wednesday 4 October 2017 from 6:00pm at Ultimo College, Thomas St Ultimo, Building G, Ground Floor, Room GG.19.

    Indicative timetable:

    You will need to attend approximately 9 hours of class a week for 4 weeks. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Monday and Wednesday 6:00pm to 9:00pm plus two full Saturdays 10:00am to 4:30pm.
