Course description and aims
Want to learn about black and white film processing and printing? There is more to it than taking a photograph as in the words of Ansel Adams, "You don't take a photograph, you make it."
In this Introduction to Fine Art Black and White Processing and Printing course, you will discover the wonderful art of black and white wet darkroom techniques. You will gain valuable knowledge and skills which will include black and white film types; various paper types; processing and printing techniques; print toning; print finishing; mounting techniques; plus much more.
Enrol at any location
You will need to attend approximately 4 hours of class over 1 day per week. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Saturday, 8:00am to 12:00pm

Candidates will need to provide their own DSLR or digital rangefinder camera with full manual controls; portable hardrive approx 500GB and have a computer with basic imaging software.
