Course description and aims
This course is designed for beginners in photography and photo imaging who wish to learn the wonderful craft of image manipulation using Adobe Photoshop from a photographic perspective. You will learn layers and selections, tonal control and retouching, levels and curves, creating masks and much more.
The course content is delivered in a way that is easy to understand and follow, for beginners and intermediate users of Photoshop. You will be able to create images that inspire, inform and delight. If you are a photographer then this course is designed for you.

In this course you will learn Photoshop techniques for the Photography Industry. This course is designed for beginners or students with limited knowledge on how to use Photoshop techniques to enhance and manipulate images.
Our Photoshop courses are conducted in a computer lab with the most current up to date software.
You will need to attend approximately 3 hours of class a week over 1 day per week. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Tuesday, 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Candidates will be required to provide their own DSLR or digital rangefinder camera with full manual controls, a portable hardrive (approximately 500GB), and should have access to a computer with basic imaging software to successfully complete this course.
