Course description and aims
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software provides a comprehensive set of digital photography tools, from powerfully simple one-click adjustments to cutting-edge advanced controls. Designed with Photographers in mind, Lightroom is an all in one workflow application designed to take the hassle out of image editing.
This six week course will cover the basics of Lightroom workflow, from cataloguing your images, to making image adjustments, learning about camera metadata and using the tools in Lightroom. Come and join us for this wonderful entry to Lightroom 4 in our Mac computer labs. Create images that inspire, inform, and delight.
Course outcomes and careers
Students can also undertake Introduction to Digital Photography and Introduction to Studio Lighting.
On completion of this training program, students may wish to continue to the Preparatory Skill Set CUVSS0003 and the Diploma Photo Imaging CUV50411. Please refer to the Careers Pathway brochure to review options and educational progression.

You will need to attend 3 hours of class 1 evening per week over 8 weeks. Indicative timetable: Monday, 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Candidates will need to provide their own DSLR or digital rangefinder camera with full manual controls; portable hardrive approx 500GB and have a computer with basic imaging software.
