Microchip Implantation course details
Course description and aims
This course is designed for workers such as veterinary nurses, animal shelter employees, local government animal management officers and technicians involved in performing microchip implantation procedures on cats and dogs in accordance with state regulations. Course participants must be able to demonstrate competency to implant microchips under the supervision of a registered veterinarian on least 15 occasions (at least 5 cats and 5 dogs of a range of breeds and sizes) within 60 days of finishing the course. Participants may then apply for accreditation as a microchip implanter (Authorised Identifier).

Attend the following information session to meet with the teaching staff, discuss the course and get more information about enrolment and next steps.
Wednesday 21 June, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm or 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Ultimo College, 651-731 Harris Street, building D, level 7, room 49.
You will need to attend approximately 7 hours of class a week over 2 days. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
GET YOUR UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI)
