Course description and aims
The Statement of Attainment Work Health and Safety is a fast paced course that will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to work in a WHS related role in a variety of industries. The learner group consists of learners seeking the underpinning skills and knowledge required to improve their career options in WHS in manufacturing, services and in particular the ever growing retail industry. Through a combination of practical activities, industry case studies, simulations and projects, this course covers areas such as assisting with compliance, implementing and maintaining WHS consultative processes, hazard identification, WHS management systems and incidents as well as contributing to a variety of WHS aspects with manufacturing, services and retail industries.

Attend the following information session to meet with the teaching staff, discuss the course and get more information about enrolment and next steps.
Wednesday, 29 March 2017 from 6:00pm at Gymea Campus, Ground floor, Room AG01.
You will need to attend approximately 7 hours of class over 1 day per week. An indication of how your weekly timetable may look is: Saturday, 9:30am to 4:00pm.
If you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, we will contact you with the non-subsidised fee for this course during the application process.
