If you choose a flexible delivery course you will study in both the classroom and through online or distance learning. How much is delivered in which way depends on your specific course.
GET YOUR UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI)
Before you enrol you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Visit http://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi to request a USI. Remember to add Sydney TAFE to your account via the Manage Permissions page (code: 90003, name: TAFE NSW - Sydney Institute).

Recognition is a process of acknowledging previously completed qualifications, skills, knowledge or experience relevant to your course. This may reduce the amount of learning required, reduce your course fees and allow you to achieve your qualification faster.

The keyboarding speed test will take 30-45 minutes. Please do not feel any pressure doing this test. If you are unsuccessful, take a break and resit the test. You must book an appointment before attending. We are flexible, however it is preferred that the test is conducted on a Wednesday between 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Evening sessions are available from a Tuesday 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Excludes TAFE holidays. Upon completion, you will receive the Speed Statement on the day and the transcript will be posted out to you in the coming days.
