Are you a team player as well as enjoying working on your own? Do you listen to people so you can understand what they really want? Can you work under pressure to bring about results?

In the real estate and property industry there are many career-paths. As well as being a real estate agent you could be an auctioneer, property manager, real estate valuer or a licensed strata and community title managing agent.

The best real estate and valuation courses

Sydney TAFE gives you the advantage whatever the stage of your real estate and valuation career.

  • Leaving school? Programs and support services will teach you workplace practices, attitudes and the foundation skills to launch your great career.
  • Launching your career? We are the only training provider recognised by the Australian Property Institute.
  • Time for a change? We offer the highest level vocational qualification for the real estate industry, and courses are aligned with NSW Fair Trading licensing and registration requirements.

Sydney TAFE can recognise your knowledge and life/work experience so you finish your qualification faster.

So if you are already working in the industry or a related job and want to build on your career, you can apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) so you don’t have to study what you already know.

Sydney TAFE is always developing innovative ways to deliver its courses, including evening and online options.

Changing career adds value

Anthony Clayton-Spray studied real estate and property at Sydney TAFE, and has now become a licensed real estate agent after the final exams in 2014. Anthony manages property and decided to learn more about real estate and gain formal qualifications in the area.

“As a mature-age student; I didn’t realise how much fun it would be to study again,” says Anthony.

“I’m having a great experience and can only describe it as wonderful.

“My only regret is that I should have done this 30 years ago!”

Build new career skills

Sydney TAFE offers you the opportunity of adding value to your skill-set through other courses that can complement your real estate and valuation career.
