From Sydney TAFE to a degree

Sydney TAFE has agreements with a number of Australian universities and other training organisations which allow you to apply for credit, if you enrol in one of their relevant degree courses.

As a general rule, the higher the qualification you study at Sydney TAFE, the more credit you are eligible to receive.

Bachelor of Hospitality (Management) at Sydney TAFE

Sydney TAFE now offers a Bachelor of Hospitality (Management) in partnership with the University of Ballarat. This innovative degree program integrates applied and academic learning to reflect the changing roles and responsibilities of a senior hospitality manager.

The course normally takes three years to complete but if you already have earned a Hospitality Diploma and Hospitality Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) at Sydney TAFE, you’ll receive up to two years credit on your degree.

Build new career skills

Sydney TAFE offers you the opportunity of adding value to your skill-set through other programs, including short courses:

  • Barista
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)
  • Food Safety Supervision
  • Hotel and On Premises Licensee competency.
