From design to studying printing

Melissa Sommerville had a textile design background when she decided to enrol in printing studies at Sydney TAFE. With each class of her course she discovers something new.

“I still find I learn something new every week. It is great to see designs develop because of the new applications, techniques and processes I have learned in the screen and digital printing course. It really shows me that anything is possible the only limitation is your imagination.”

Print a course around the world

Students from Sydney TAFE are encouraged to enter Australasian, Asia Pacific and global design and printing competitions, including the prestigious Specialty Graphic Imaging Association of Australia’s (SGIAA) digital and screen print awards.
