You will develop your ideas and learn to master artistic techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and photography.

Flexible and fast-track options

Sydney TAFE is always developing innovative ways to deliver its courses, from introductory short courses to advanced diplomas. Enter at the level you need and study full-time or part-time to suit your life.

Sydney TAFE can recognise your knowledge and life/work experience so you finish your qualification faster. If you are already working in the industry or have other relevant experience and want to build on your career, you can apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) so you don’t have to study what you already know.

From Sydney TAFE to a degree

Create your own pathway from a certificate-level course to an advanced diploma at Sydney TAFE.

Some higher level fine arts and ceramics courses offer credit transfer so you may be able to fast-track a degree in fine arts, visual arts or design after you finish your Sydney TAFE course.
