Setting the right course for the community

“I loved study at Sydney TAFE,” says Feroza Yasmin, who completed certificates in community services.

“Every teacher was very cooperative and friendly. Sometimes my teacher Rhonda Balzan Bastow was my guardian, friend and sister. She always encouraged me. I will not forget her for the rest of my life.”

Feroza is now a community service worker for the NSW Area Health Service. She is a bilingual advocate for children and families and works closely with the Bangladeshi Australian community.
