If you are already working in the industry and want to build on your career, you can apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) so you don’t have to study what you already know.

An inspired change

May Ahmed completed her certificate III and Nursing Diploma at Sydney TAFE and is currently finishing her Master of Nursing.

May had a degree in mathematics and was working in finance when a family member became seriously ill. Spending time at the hospital, May was impressed by the nurses and the amazing role they played.

“I decided to change my career and enter this worthwhile profession,” May says.
